KIM Kardashian has been critiqued by fans for leaving her daughter Chicago West terrified with a creepy costume.
The controversial moment took place during a recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, showing the Skims founder spending time with her eldest daughter North.

During the episode, Kim, 42, was seen bonding with North, nine, by allowing her to do special effects makeup on her.
While the fashion mogul sat in the makeup chair, she chatted with Scott Disick about various topics.
North worked away, applying an exaggerated nose, fake texture, and more to her mother’s face.
She showed her the finished product and the group decided a wig was the only way to complete the look.
Kim popped on a dark, short wig and a trench coat, and then North took her around the house, introducing her to security staffers, the nanny, and then little sister Chicago as a “new art teacher.”
Everyone seemed to fall for the prank, but fans couldn’t help but notice that Kim’s youngest daughter appeared totally scared.
Kim spoke to her in a fake voice, pretending to be someone else, and Chicago stood there shyly listening before running off in another direction.
The SKKN founder, North, and Scott all had a laugh about the moment but fans watching at home didn’t seem to find it so funny.
After the episode aired, critics flocked to Reddit to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “Yeah, I don’t understand why they thought terrifying a little girl was funny. I’d be so upset if I scared my daughter to the point of wedding herself. The kids are just expendable playthings.”
Someone else commented: “Wait hold on, she did it because she was scared? It wasn’t just a regular accident but a fear response? That’s so upsetting.”
‘POOR NORTH’
It wasn’t just the uncomfortable moment with Chicago that had fans buzzing.
Kim was slammed for her treatment of North in the episode of the Hulu reality show as well.
While North was doing her mother’s makeup, the TV personality was chatting with Scott about her father passing away when she was young.

In the middle of the intense and emotional chat, North shushed her mother.
Once the room got quiet, the preteen let out a few loud farts.
She had a big smile on her face after the fact.
Kim and Scott were both caught off guard but then began laughing.
Scott said: “The sound of the police! Whoop whoop! You gotta check your pants kid.”
He sarcastically continued: “I liked it. By the way, it smells delicious.”
North didn’t say anything, she just continued to giggle.
Kim addressed the incident in a confessional interview, saying: “I am in a deep conversation and then… you know. North is… a kid.”
NOT COOL, KIM
Kardashian critics online were quick to call out Kim for allowing the footage to be used in the show.
One said, “I can only imagine how kids will treat her at school for this… Kim won’t even admit to farting as a grown adult but will let her 9-year-old have hers aired for the whole world to see?
“I remember accidentally farting once in the 2nd grade in front of my crush and I’m still embarrassed about it.”
Another wrote, “She is embarrassing North…”
“You could see North was embarrassed but Kim and Scott just kept laughing, kept talking about it. North’s reaction was very telling,” added a third.
