Kim Jong-un becomes a victim of a cruel death hoax on April Fool's day

Some thought Kim Jong-un was dead after he became a victim of a death hoax on April 1st as part of an April Fool’s prank.

April 1st has become well-known all over the world as the day when playing pranks and jokes has become normal. One may say it has become hard to trust anything that you see on social media on this day.

One of these happened to be the news of Kim Jong-un’s death as he became a victim of a celebrity death hoax like others such as Tom Holland, Oprah Winfrey, and more.

Kim Jong-un is not dead

The news about Kim Jong-un being dead first started on TikTok where users came across a video stating the same.

In it, the user stated that the North Korean politician was no more as he died of a heart attack. It further questioned if his daughter would be taking his place in politics.

However, some people who failed to wait until the end of the video fell victim to the prank as the user does say that the entire content was part of April Fool’s prank.

There have been several April Fool’s jokes

April 1st is always considered to be the best day to pull some great pranks and jokes on others. Like the TikTok users, some brands and celebrities tried to do the same.

For instance, Rare Beauty introduced their famous blush in a jumbo size, Duolingo teased their fake reality show where contestants speak different languages and many more.

With this in mind, it does not come as a surprise that other social media users also decided to do pranks.
