KENDRICK Lamar has fans convinced he won his battle with Drake after hearing the rapper’s new diss track.
The rap star not-so-subtly responded to Drake’s latest dig at him in their nasty feud.
Kendrick, 36, and Drake, 37, have been going at it for a while, but many think the former took the victory with his newly released song, Meet the Grahams.
The song – which states Drake’s last name, Graham, in its title – dropped Saturday at midnight, minutes after the God’s Plan rapper sent Kendrick another message in his track Family Matters.
In the lyrics, Kendrick called out Drake for allegedly having another child – besides his 6-year-old son, Adonis – that no one knows about.
“You lied about your son, you lied about your daughter, huh, you lied about them other kids that’s out there hoping that you come,” Kendrick rapped, accusing his nemesis of having a secret daughter.
THE BATTLE CONTINUES
The Humble rapper continued to bash Drake by claiming he has issues with alcohol, spending, and gambling.
“You f***ed up the minute you called out my family’s name,” Kendrick rapped, clapping back at Drake’s previous diss track.
“You got gambling problems, drinking problems, pill-popping and spending problems, bad with money, w***e house/ Therapy’s a lovely start.”
Kendrick also listed a slew of things he claimed Drake has been covering up, including about his son and the actor’s alleged cosmetic surgeries.
“F**k a rap battle, this a lifelong battle with yourself,” he snapped at the One Dance rapper.
Fans praised Kendrick for the song, his third diss track this week about Drake, and thought he got the upper hand in their war.
“It’s over. Kendrick Lamar has won. Never have we witnessed someone so perfectly executing a ‘rap beef.’ Kendrick might be the greatest of all time. This s**t DIABOLICAL! THE BOOGEYMAN IS REAL!,” one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
“Family Matters had me vibing but Meet The Grahams made me hate Drake,” another replied.
Shortly after, a source close to Drake told TMZ that Kendrick’s claims about him having a secret child is “utter fabrication.”
Drake also responded to Kendrick’s track on his Instagram Stories by writing, “Nahhhh hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me,” and a bunch of laughing, crying emojis.
“These guys are in shambles,” he added.
Drake took numerous swipes at Kendrick in Family Matters, which dropped late Friday night.
He tacked on from his previous song, Push Ups, by alleging that Kendrick’s relationship with his fiancée, Whitney Ford, is chock-full of infidelity.
“You the Black messiah wifing up a mixed queen/ And hit vanilla cream to help out with your self-esteem/ On some Bobby s**t, I wanna know what Whitney need,” the Passionfruit rapper dished.
Drake also suggested that Dave Free, the Like That rapper’s longtime creative partner, fathered one of Kendrick’s children.
“Your baby mama captions always screamin’, ‘Save me’/ You did her dirty all her life, you tryna make peace/ I heard that one of them little kids might be Dave Free/ Don’t make it dave freeze/ Cause if your GM is your BM secret BD,” Drake bashed.
FEUD ESCALATES
The enemies have been going tit for tat in their very public beef.
Earlier this week, Drake hit back at Kendrick for dissing him in his track, Euphoria in a social media post.
The father of one uploaded a brief clip to his Stories of an iconic scene from the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You, where lead Julia Stiles listed things she hated about someone.
Fans thought it was a sly dig at Kendrick as the dialogue seemed to emulate the lyrics in his diss track.
Drake and Kendrick’s beef began when the latter appeared on Like That off Future and Metro Boomin’s album We Don’t Trust You, where he swiped at the Grammy award winner; however, some fans believe their feud started years earlier.
They appeared to be on good terms in 2012 when Kendrick was an opening act for Drake’s Club Paradise Tour.
That same year, Drake appeared in Kendrick’s song, Poetic Justice.
