KELLY Clarkson has taken a savage dig at her former The Voice co-host Blake Shelton, claiming that it was all in good fun.
The American Idol alum made the shady comment while discussing the latest star dubbed the Sexiest Man Alive.

Kelly, 41, chatted with Access Hollywood about Patrick Dempsey being crowned the title, expressing shock that it took so long.
“He’s never had it?” she asked before adding, “And Blake got it? I’m just kidding, I’m just kidding! Blake deserved it.”
Blake took the title in 2017.
She went on: “That’s so shocking to me that he’s never had it before… We really messed that one up…He’s aging like a fine wine.”
A fan-run account on X, formerly known as Twitter, posted the interview snippet on its account.
Commenters seemed to get a kick out of it, with one responding: “She wasn’t kidding though Blake didn’t deserve it.”
“She wasn’t kidding,” another speculated.

SHADY PALS
Kelly and Blake have been known to take digs at one another.
The pair exchanged shady comments back in April when the God’s Country crooner was still a coach on The Voice.
During an episode of the competition series, Blake and Kelly slammed one another in front of the other judges and a live audience.
Toward the end of the episode, all four The Voice judges were shown smack-talking one another backstage.
Things got particularly heated between Kelly and Blake.
The Oklahoma native kicked off the conversation by saying: “I hate this part. I like the blinds and then I like when we go live.”
Kelly then asked: “You’re not a little sad?”
“Of what?” He responded.
Kelly said: “Your last battles.”
He thought for a moment and then replied: “The only thing that makes me sad about this is I heard how badly you guys have been coaching.”

The Stronger singer laughed as she said back: “Oh my God. You’re so full of it.”
Blake went on: “That makes me sad for you guys.”
“You’re so empathetic,” the daytime TV host said.

Blake quit The Voice in May.
He competed in season 23 of the singing competition series months after he confirmed that it would be his last.
The country musician has been appearing on the show since it premiered.
He announced that he was leaving and suggested that it had been on his mind for some time.
As for why Blake left The Voice, he said at the time: “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after season 23.
“This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me.
“It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best.
“It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week.
“I’ve made lifelong bonds with Carson and every single one my fellow coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani.
“ I have to give a huge shout out to the singers – the ‘Voices’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coach.
“Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at The Voice chasing their dreams.
“It wouldn’t happen without you!”
According to Radar Online, however, Blake was said to be suffering from burnout.
“He loves being the star of The Voice, but there’s so much drama going on behind the scenes,” a source told the outlet.
“It just all became overwhelming for him.”
