KELLIE Pickler fans have cried that they miss the singer after she returned to the stage for the first time since her husband Kyle Jacobs’s tragic death.
Kyle was a country music songwriter, vocalist, and musician who died from suicide at the age of 49 in February of 2023.
On Monday, Kellie, 37, performed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville as part of the Walkin’ After Midnight tribute to the late Patsy Cline.
A TikTok video recorded by an audience member captured the Red High Heels singer telling the crowd, “How we doin’ tonight, y’all? I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m incredibly nervous right now.”
She continued, “It’s been the first time I’ve been up on stage in a while.”
The performance was Kellie’s first since her husband passed on February 17, 2023.
The American Idol Season Five finalist briefly spoke about her Kyle before forming her song, The Woman I Am.
She told the audience, “My husband and I actually wrote this song together, gosh, over a decade ago.”
“The last time I was here in the Ryman Auditorium was with him on a date night, and I know he is here with us tonight.”
“Thank y’all so much for having me. I’m going to do the best I can,” Kellie added.
On X, formally Twitter, a fan posted a clip of the country star’s performance and tweeted, “@kelliepickler we’ve missed you!”
The If It Wasn’t for a Woman stunned in a bedazzled black and white gown and channeled Old Hollywood stardom with her long, platinum blonde hair styled into waves and swept to the side.
KELLIE AND KYLE

She said, “We started writing songs the next day, and then we got hitched, well, that happened a few years later.”
TRAGIC LOSS
Kyle was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at 49 years old on February 17, 2023, at his and Kellie’s $2.4million home in Nashville.
