SURI Cruise has been spotted looking happier than ever in New York City earlier this week.
Back in June, Suri, 18, graduated high school with her mom Katie Holmes, 45, in attendance but not her father Tom Cruise, 62.
On Wednesday, the young star – who mainly remained out of the limelight – was photographed out and about with her friends in New York.
Suri went for a laid-back look while walking the streets of New York City including a forest-green top, blue striped pants, and brown clogs.
She and her friends were also seen carrying a few bags.
The 18-year-old looked very similar to her famous mom, wearing minimal makeup and keeping her brunette hair down.
PROUD MOM
Last month, Katie attended Suri’s graduation at the United Palace Theatre in New York.
Suri looked over the moon to finally graduate high school and move onward to college.
In the fall, Suri will reportedly study design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
To the huge event, the Dawson’s Creek actress wore a cream-colored ensemble including a button-up sweater and wide-legged pants.
Katie accessorized with tons of jewelry, a shoulder bag, and sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Suri wore a white dress underneath a red gown with distressed Converse shoes.
The mother-daughter duo hugged and smiled while deep in conversation and posing for photos.
Suri had her name in the graduation pamphlet under Suri Noelle, her middle name, instead of her last name Cruise.
In May, she also went by Suri Noelle after performing in Head Over Heels on Broadway.
Despite everything, her formal name is still Suri Cruise as stated on her birth certificate.
TOM AND KATIE’S RELATIONSHIP
The Hollywood couple met in 2005 and got engaged shortly after.
On April 16, 2006, Tom and Katie welcomed Suri.
Months later, the two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy.
Six years later, Katie filed for divorce from Tom.
Katie was granted full custody of Suri and a nice settlement from Tom.
After the split, Katie and Suri left the spotlight and moved to New York.
Suri is believed to have minimal contact with her Top Gun star father.
