Katie, 66, went makeup-free for the snap, posing with her face close to the camera while standing in what looked like her bedroom.

She wrote: “Calling all sensitive skin sufferers!

“I’ve had eczema ever since I was a little girl, and as I’ve gotten older, it’s started to flare up again.

“I also deal with allergic contact dermatitis — safe to say, I have to be careful about what I put on my face.”

The presenter said her “search for treatment” led her to a dermatologist, whose products “have really helped.”

She concluded by joking: “I can’t believe I let my team post this picture. Good Lord.”

Katie then clarified in a comment: “By the way this cleared up by the time I had my date with George. It just flares up a lot and it’s so annoying!”

The TV host had shared a photo with the actor, 62, on Wednesday at an event in a New York City bar.

Katie’s fans flooded the comments section with her support.

Kristin Chenoweth wrote, “I have it too, Kc. It stinks,” and Michelle Pfeiffer added: “Ouch.”

Katie has been open about her health battles in the past.

In September 2022 she revealed she has breast cancer and underwent surgery several months earlier.

The journalist said she was diagnosed with the disease on June 21, 2022 – the day of her eighth wedding anniversary.

Katie announced the devastating news by posting a photo of herself in a mask and hospital robe on Instagram.

CANCER BATTLE

She wrote alongside it: “Every two minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.

“On June 21st, I became one of them. As we approach  #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, I wanted to share my personal story with you all and encourage you to get screened and understand that you may fall into a category of women who needs more than a mammogram.”

The journalist – whose late husband Jay Monahan died of cancer in 1998 – shared the detailed story of her journey in an essay on her Katie Couric Media website.

Recalling the moment she found out, Katie penned: “I felt sick and the room started to spin.

“I was in the middle of an open office, so I walked to a corner and spoke quietly, my mouth unable to keep up with the questions swirling in my head.

“What does this mean? Will I need a mastectomy? Will I need chemo? What will the next weeks, months, even years look like?”

The presenter had a lumpectomy in July as well as radiation treatments and will take medication for five years.

Katie urged other women to make sure they get their regular exams.
