KATE Gosselin is said to be struggling financially and without friends to lean on after her TLC reality show came to an end.
The Jon and Kate Plus 8 star is living in North Carolina with some of her children, while others reside in Pennsylvania with their father Jon Gosselin.

Kate, 48, went from being a major reality star to struggling quietly, according to a new report from In Touch Weekly.
After Jon & Kate Plus 8 came to an end in 2009, the network aired a spin-off series called Kate Plus 8 from 2010 to 2017; The Gosselin matriarch also authored several books and appeared on Dancing With the Stars.
When all that media attention dried up, however, the mom of eight was left with almost nothing.
Insiders told the outlet: “She’s fallen quite a ways from being one of the country’s top reality stars.
“Kate is currently living a very quiet and boring life in North Carolina. She doesn’t date and has very few friends – actually, her best friends are pretty much her kids.”
After the show ended, she moved to Troutman, North Carolina, and obtained a multi-state nursing degree in the hopes of returning to her pre-television career.
In Touch’s source revealed, however: “Kate lives paycheck to paycheck.”
According to the insider, she “borrowed” $100,000 from a trust set up for her kids just “to survive.”
“There hasn’t been a glam squad for a very long time, so Kate looks totally different. She stays home a lot, watches a lot of TV,” the source added.
MOVING ON
The children are growing up now and the former TV personality is facing the prospect of being alone for the first time in a long time.
Twins Cara and Mady, both 23, have left the nest already and graduated from college.

Cara completed her dress at Fordham University and works as a financial analyst in New York City.
Mady, meanwhile, got her degree from Syracuse University and works at Bubble Skincare in the Big Apple.
The sextuplets are high school graduates, preparing to go out on their own paths.
Kate has little-to-no relationship with Hannah and Collin, as their father Jon has custody of them.
MAMA DRAMA
In September, a source opened up to the U.S. Sun exclusively about the bond, or lack thereof, between Kate and Hannah.
The interview came just after the controversial figure attended her daughter’s high school graduation, which shocked many viewers.
At the time, it was reported that the mother-daughter duo fell out again after Vice’s Dark Side of the 2000s Jon & Kate Plus 8: Family Circus aired.
A source said at the time: “Hannah has worked hard to have a relationship with her mother, but sadly Kate has never treated Hannah well after she went to live with her father.
“The most recent outburst from Kate has not helped their current relationship.”
Despite the drama between them, the insider claimed Hannah “will continue to try to build healthy relationships with her siblings.”
The source added: “Now that her siblings will finally have some space from Kate, they will have more of an opportunity to thrive as brothers and sisters.”
Kate and Collin were said to have “no relationship” at the time.
