Report that Justin Bieber is considering retiring from music leaves fans disappointed

Beliebers are pushing back on reports that suggest Justin Bieber is considering retiring early from music to focus on his health and marriage with Hailey Bieber.

Justin Bieber previously canceled his much-awaited tour, telling his fans that he wanted to make his health a priority. He was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome in 2022, which caused facial paralysis in the singer.

But, despite being vocal about his health issues, especially mental health, the Stay singer has been subject to extreme criticism in the recent past as he’s been dragged into the online drama involving his wife and his former girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Justin Bieber is reportedly considering retiring at 29

The news about Justin considering an early retirement from music was first reported by Radar Online.

The outlet cites sources who have claimed that the singer wants to “duck out of the limelight” with his model wife, Hailey Bieber.

An alleged friend of the singer revealed that he was having struggles with professionals after claiming: “Justin hasn’t felt right with the world for some time, and his stardom weighs heavily on him.”

Apparently, he has been told by his therapist to perhaps take a permanent break from music if it was adding to the onus he is already carrying.

The alleged friends said: “Even his therapist says if what he’s doing makes him unhappy, he should make the hard decision to set it aside”

Fans are extremely disappointed

Even though Justin hasn’t confirmed the reports or hinted that he would stop making music, fans are bogged down by the mere thought of him not gracing them with his musical chops.

One fan Tweeted: “No Nooo Nooo! This can’t be happening. Please tell me Justin Bieber’s retirement is a rumor.”

“Of course, Justin can’t be retiring. He was seen by lots of people going to the studio multiple times a few times ago also he said in his own words that JB7 was almost done,” added another.

A third fan wrote: “If Justin Bieber was retiring he would not let paparazzi news sites tell us. He would tell us himself. He knows how much he means to us & his music.”

Singer recently sold music rights to his entire catalog

The above reports claim that Justin is thinking of retiring to “enjoy his money” which increased significantly after he reportedly sold the music rights to his entire catalog for a whopping $200 million in January 2023.

The founder and chief executive officer of Hipgnosis Song Management, Merck Mercuriadis, who bought the rights to Justin’s music said: “This acquisition ranks among the biggest deals ever made for an artist under the age of 70.”

At the age of 29, the singer is said to have an estimated net worth of $485 million, so it isn’t surprising that fans are worried he may stop making music permanently to enjoy his impressive fortune.

But, despite what the sources have claimed, only Justin can confirm if he’s officially retiring from the music industry.
