TikTok users are losing their minds over a man in a tie-dye hoodie – eerily similar to one Justin Bieber has worn in the past – standing in the crowd thronging towards Selena Gomez for her autograph.
There is no dearth of gossip and rumors on the social media platform; be it surrounding Ariana Grande’s rumored pregnancy or Zendaya and Tom Holland’s private beach video which was made to disappear by fans.
A number of TikTok users are absolutely bamboozled by this new clip which has raised quite a lot of eyebrows, once again digging deep into Selena and Justin’s past relationship.
Fans wonder if guy in tie-dye hoodie is Justin Bieber
The viral clip we are talking about shows a man clad in a tie-dye hoodie, standing across the street, before making his way through the crowd surrounding Selena for an autograph.
Many TikTok users have shared side-by-side videos and pictures of this mysterious man and Justin wearing a similar outfit.
While some have only drawn comparisons between the stranger and the singer, others are convinced it is the real Justin.
The mysterious guy’s face is not visible throughout the video – he covered it by wearing a white mask.
Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend has worn similar outfits
Justin has been photographed wearing tie-dye hoodies and t-shirts on many occasions. Furthermore, his own merch shop has hoodies with similar prints.
He stepped out in one such vibrant hoodie in October 2022 in Los Angeles, after recovering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

And, in 2018, he wore another colorful hoodie extremely similar to the one the guy in the TikTok videos is seen wearing, when he went to dinner with his friends in Malibu.
A piece of fabric alone cannot prove the identity of the person, regardless of the similarities it shares with any other outfit owned by anybody. And, let’s remind ourselves how easy it is to make your own tie-dye hoodie using simple DIY methods.
By the look of the viral TikTok videos, it seems like the entire scenario was a well-staged prank, to make fans believe that Justin was secretly following Selena (but, in his signature hoodie, which gives away, way too much), to get an autograph of his ex-girlfriend.
Fans are baffled
Selena and Justin go way back, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that their fans love to indulge in any gossip related to the former couple.
One fan, who isn’t totally convinced by TikTok theories born out of the viral clip, wrote: “Not the same Hoodie…colors are off…but it leaves hope for a making of a movie”
“If it’s him it’s so crazy. How can we move on when he hasn’t,” said another fan who is convinced the mysterious guy is Justin.
“I wouldn’t be surprised. That’s his “right person wrong time”, commented a third one.
Another suggested: “Can you probably check the hand? I mean if you can zoom the hand like Justin has tatts maybe”
