JOHN Mulaney’s ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler has announced her revenge memoir as fans warn the comedian to run.
The Saturday Night Live alum asked for a divorce from Anna in April 2021 before announcing he was expecting a child with Olivia Munn in September of the same year.
On Tuesday, Anna, 38, took to her Instagram account to reveal she has written a memoir and announce its release date.
The multimedia artist shared a photo of herself holding the book in the social media post.
She captioned the announcement, “Men Have Called Her Crazy, my memoir, will be published by @simonbooks on August 13, 2024.”
In it, Anna explained, “I have been writing this book for two years. More accurately though I have been writing it for close to four decades. I have never been more proud of any work. It is a story about mental health; about being a woman; about family. And finally, about the endless source of my heartbreak and rage—men.”
She continued, “Men Have Called Her Crazy is now available for pre-order. I would be honored if you pre-ordered it and incredibly grateful if you shared this announcement and pre-order link with anyone for whom you think this book might resonate. The link to order is in my bio.”
Anna then added, “p.s. You didn’t think I was just taking photos of sunsets and seashores this whole time, did you?”
In the comment section, one fan wrote, “That one comedian is quivering in his boots.”
“Him and his pick me,” added another.
“As if we already didn’t hate him enough!” commented a third.
A fourth fan remarked, “I just know this book is going to change my life.”
“I have waited years for this and I will devour every word,” stated a fifth.
Another commenter asserted, “she’s going to END HIM.”

John and Anna were married for six years.
Following his stint at rehab for “alcohol and cocaine addiction,” the couple announced their separation in 2020, which was later finalized in January 2022.
Anna is known as a photographer, make-up artist, writer, and lampshade designer.
She is also a talented hairstylist and has penned two books – one named Pin It!: 20 Fabulous Bobby Pin Hairstyles and the other named The Daily Face: 25 Makeup Looks for Day, Night, And Everything In Between!
Over the years, Anna has worked on several TV sets as a make-up artist and hairstylist including, The Old Man And The Seymour, CollegeHumor Originals, Aziz Ansari: Dangerously Delicious, along with her own husband’s John Mulaney: New In Town, and John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid.

John and Anna tied the knot in July 2014 at the destination wedding venue Onteora Mountain House in the Albany, New York area.
The couple first met on a trip to Martha’s Vineyard on a group vacation and immediately hit it off.
On their wedding site, the couple reminisced on their first meeting.
At the time they wrote: “After a group vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, John rode shotgun while Anna drove a carload of people home.
“He did bits the whole ride and killed. They were not dating at the time, but Anna knew they would be soon after.”
John asked for a divorce from Anna in April 2021, which came as a shock to many, as even Tendler admitted she didn’t see it coming.
“I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage,” Tendler said in a statement at the time. “I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”
A spokesperson for John later confirmed the news to Page Six but added, “John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work.”
Months after John asked for a divorce, Anna published a lengthy Instagram post on December 31, 2021, reflecting on the year of her divorce.
Even though she spoke about the losses over the last two years because of the coronavirus pandemic, she went on to express her frustration about her divorce by stating: “I find myself asking, ‘when will I feel normal?’ but in reality, I recognize that the normal from before has expired; ‘normal’ is an impossibility, there is only ‘new’.”
She went on to say: “So how does one digest grief? How do we metabolize trauma, collective and individual? How, precisely, do we sit with, in order to move through?
“We call our friends; we allow ourselves to laugh. We cry in parked cars. We work; we rest. We throw plates just to watch them break; we make things with our hands.
“We write, we read, we watch movies. We listen to music. We run, or walk, or sprint, or dance. We ask for help or learn to ask for help. We love or learn to love again.”
She concluded by saying: “Here we all are, surviving and creating and laughing at tik tok videos. So long 2021. For better or worse I will carry a piece of you with me forever.”
JOHN AND OLIVIA
On September 7, during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, John announced he was expecting a child with Olivia Munn.
John gushed about his whirlwind romance with Olivia and shared how she’s been supportive in his path to recovery after he relapsed on drugs last year and checked into rehab.
“I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible who has dealt with the non-coked-up Bambi version of me and that’s been very incredible.
“She’s kind of held my hand through that hell and we are having a baby together,” John announced.
“I was nervous when I was about to say the news. That’s why I looked down and then I looked up,” he added to Seth. “I’m going to be a dad.”
John revealed that he met Olivia for the first time at Meyers’ wedding to Alexi Ashe back in 2013.
“So it’s nice something good came out of the wedding,” John joked.
“That’s just a clean good joke all around… And [Olivia] got to date me right out of recovery which is what they call a reverse catch. It is a very, very lucky thing to have met this woman.”
John and Olivia welcomed their first child together, a son named Malcolm, on November 24, 2021.
