JOHN Mulaney and Olivia Munn have been slammed by critics for red carpet debut two years after he was accused of cheating on his wife with the actress.
The couple walked the red carpet at the 2024 Governors Awards, which the stand-up comic also hosted.

John, 41, sported a classic black tuxedo for the Hollywood event.
The suit’s tailored fit contrasted nicely against his manicured scruff.
Olivia, 43, donned an all-white, sleeveless ensemble for the ceremony celebrating awards conferred by the Academy’s Board of Governors.
The Predator star wore full-glam makeup and her long brunette hair was parted down the middle and allowed to fall down her back.

Photos of the couple were posted to a pop culture Reddit board, where fans weighed in on Olivia’s look as well as the controversy surrounding the way the pair began dating.
One person wrote, “She is gorgeous but that dress looks like a wrinkled bed sheet.”

“It’s giving Ariel on the beach wearing the sail as a dress but more wrinkly,” added a third.

John and his ex-wife Annamarie Tendler were married for six years.
Following his stint at rehab for “alcohol and cocaine addiction,” the couple announced their separation in 2020, which was later finalized in January 2022.

Tendler is known as a photographer, make-up artist, writer, and lampshade designer.
Over the years, Tendler has worked on several TV sets as a make-up artist and hairstylist including, The Old Man And The Seymour, CollegeHumor Originals, Aziz Ansari: Dangerously Delicious, along with her ex-husband’s John Mulaney: New In Town, and John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid.
Mulaney and Tendler tied the knot in July 2014 at the destination wedding venue Onteora Mountain House in the Albany, New York area.
Mulaney asked for a divorce from Tendler in April 2021, which came as a shock to many, as even Tendler admitted she didn’t see it coming.
“I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage,” Tendler said in a statement at the time. “I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”
A spokesperson for Mulaney later confirmed the news to Page Six but added, “John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work.”

On September 2, 2021, rumors started to spread that Oliva might be pregnant with her boyfriend John’s child after she was seen in Los Angeles wearing baggy tan sweats and a black crewneck sweatshirt.
Days later on September 7, 2021, during an episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, John confirmed that the couple were expecting.
John and Annamarie didn’t have any children together, so baby Malcolm would be the comedian’s first child.
At the time, TMZ had revealed that Olivia had her and John’s child on November 24 in Los Angeles.
Fans had a mixed response to the news and took to social media to reveal what they thought about the couple and the birth of their first child.
“John Mulaney needs to get the Olivia Munn timeline straight, because his wife only moved her stuff out of their house like two months ago…” one fan wrote.
“I just think if I were John Mulaney’s wife and he divorced me then got Olivia Munn pregnant I’d become the joker,” added another.
The celebrity couple met long before they were romantically involved.
During a 2015 interview with HuffPost Live, Munn revealed that they first met at a wedding, where she recalled being “so obsessed,” with spending time with him.
“We were at a wedding together and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, do you and your fiancée want to go have dinner or something and go hang out?’” Munn said at the time.
“At first it was cool, and then I kept going up to him at the wedding like, ‘So, you having fun?’ I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him.”
Following their awkward first encounter, she later revealed that she tried to stay in touch with him after the wedding by sending emails but “he never emailed back.”
Munn later joked, “I might’ve got the wrong email—probably. That’s what I tell myself.”
