EVERMORE ACTOR John Beasley has died aged 79 in a hospital, his son has confirmed.
The film and TV star – whose cause of death has not been confirmed – was known for his role in the early-to-mid 2000s series Everwood.
His son Mike W. Beasley released an emotional tribute on Facebook syaing: “Man…you know this is a part of life…but that doesn’t make it any easier. I lost my best friend today.
“They say you shouldn’t ever meet your heroes because they don’t turn out to be who you thought they were.
“That is so wrong. My hero was my father. Thank you for everything. I hope I made you proud. Love you more.”

He appeared in Peter Bogdanovich–directed To Sir, With Love II.

John passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, after experiencing liver problems, according to his sons.
His son shared the news in a Facebook post, referring to his father as his “best friend”.

John was set to make his Broadway debut this year in The Notebook.
He established the John Beasley Theatre and Workshop in his hometown of Omaha, and ran it for 13 years.
John previously said: “We changed the lives of a lot of people just through the theatre.”
