FANS have slammed Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar for having Josie, 13, wear an unsafe bathing suit on their family vacation.
Over the weekend, Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughter Joy-Anna, 25, shared a 23-minute video from the Florida beach getaway.

While the Counting On alum filmed her three-year-old daughter Evelyn on the sand, sister Josie, 13, appeared in the background.
During her walk, the teen donned a swimming dress with a white undershirt and knee-length skirt.
Josie pulled her brunette hair back into a messy bun as she stood near the foamy waves.
THE COMMENTS
In the comments section of an online thread, critics blasted Josie’s famous parents for allowing her to wear “a skirt that could slow her down and get in the way.”
One critic said: “I wouldn’t think it’s too odd of an outfit in and of itself. But the shirt under dress thing would be hell during summer.”
Another critic added: “Why would her parents allow her to wear her school uniform even in the water?”
A third critic mentioned: “This is an all-around unpleasant experience. Those fabrics aren’t made for that. Had to be awful.”
A fourth person wrote: “I guarded at a local YMCA, and if someone tried to swim in this at my pool? It just wouldn’t fly.”
A commentator chimed: “Completely useless. This is nothing but a performative modesty.

“Jim Bob and Michelle don’t actually care. They only care that they look like they are so modest.”
WEARING A HARNESS
In January, fans became concerned when they spotted Josie wearing a harness fitted around her neck and shoulders during a family meal.
The device appeared to be a figure-8 brace, which is designed to help treat clavicle fractures, broken collarbones, and dislocated clavicles.
Fans shared their worries for Josie on another online thread.
One concerned fan wrote: “One of my students wore something like that when he broke his collarbone.
“I hope that’s not the case.”
Another fan added: “Could be a flexible back brace to help with borderline/mild scoliosis.”
‘LITTLE GLITCHES’
Josie was born about 25 weeks into her mom Michelle’s pregnancy – three and a half months premature.
Michelle, 57, suffered from preeclampsia – high blood pressure during pregnancy – and had an emergency C-section to save her and Josie’s lives.
Josie is a micro-preemie, which means she is susceptible to long-term health difficulties like cerebral palsy, blindness, and deafness.
At age five in 2014, Josie suffered a scary seizure in front of the cameras for 19 Kids and Counting.
Michelle described her daughter’s struggles: “One of the little glitches for Josie is that if she runs a fever, she does have a tendency to have febrile seizures.”
