JERSEY Shore star Angelina Pivarnick entered a not guilty plea during a brief hearing for her simple assault charge on Tuesday.
Angelina, 38, appeared during her first hearing after her arrest for simple assault following an incident with her fiance last month.
The judge in the case read out that “I believe you are entering a not guilty plea here today, and I believe you had a chance to consult with the prosecutor and council and we are going to reset this matter for what we are hopeful will be a resolution, is that your understanding?”
To which Angelina’s attorney, James Leonard confirmed and said “Yes your honor.”
The judge then confirms the date for the next court hearing, and says it is her understanding that the responding officers are not needed for it, to which the legal eagle affirms is correct.
Angelina’s fiance Vincent, aka Vinny, Tortorella was present on and off during the reality star’s first hearing.
The case was heard virtually.
As The U.S. Sun first exclusively reported Angelina was arrested on June 2, at her Freehold, NJ, mansion that she shares with her fiancé, Vinny Tortorella.
At the time a source said there was an incident that required a visit from the Freehold Township Police Department.
Angelina was charged with “simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law, and resisting arrest,” according to the court clerk.
The Jersey Shore star was arrested at 11pm, but despite being cuffed, she was never brought to the county jail and was just issued a ticket due to the degree of the crime.
Vinny was not charged during the incident.
When reached for comment, Angelina’s attorney told The U.S. Sun in June: “We look forward to resolving this matter favorably and putting it behind us.
“Angelina is home resting and has no further comment at this time.”

MORE INCIDENTS
The Jersey Shore star’s home, which has been featured on Jersey Shore, has had multiple visits from the Freehold Township PD in the past.
Back on November 1st of 2023, a dispute between her and her fiancé led to cops being in the early morning hours.
According to a 911 call logs, police arrived at Angelina and Vinny’s home at 1:31 am, presumably after celebrating Halloween.
Police called the incident “domestic” and gave no further details.
No charges were filed at the time and the report was closed.
Before that incident, on July 30, 2023, at 5am, Angelina called police following an alleged altercation between her and her fiance.
“Mr. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would warrant police involvement and denies any act of domestic violence occurred,” his attorney said in a statement at the time.
Meanwhile, Angelina’s lawyer said: “After speaking with the officers, Angelina decided not to file charges.
“This matter is now closed. Moving forward, Angelina would ask for privacy as it pertains to her personal life.”
Angelina and Vinny first began dating around February 2022.
They got engaged in New Orleans in November of that year while filming Jersey Shore Family Vacation, but it wasn’t confirmed until April 2023 when the episode aired.
It is unknown when the couple will tie the knot, and they have yet to start wedding planning.
Just before last month’s Jpolice incident, Vinny appeared on Angelina’s podcast, Um Hello?, to discuss their relationship.
“Wedding plans should come very soon,” he told fans.
Angelina cut him off, saying, “We didn’t even talk about it.”
“I think we should start talking about that,” Vinny then insisted.
Angelina said she wants “a baby first” since she’s already been married.
The reality star was previously married to Chris Larangeira.
