JAMIE Foxx has finally broken his silence on his terrifying hospitalization.
The 55-year-old Oscar winner posted an update to his Instagram account.

On top of a blacked out image, Jamie shared: “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”
He also includes a praying emoji, a heart and a fox emoji.
Many of Jamie’s famous friends flooded his post with words of support.
“Hey bro,” Aj Mclean from Backstreet Boys my man your in my prayers day and night bro. Let’s get you better and home.”


SNL star Keenan Thompson excitedly said: Yesssss!!!! Take all the time you need bro!!!!”
While Ludacris echoed Jamie’s praying emoji.
MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS
Jamie’s family revealed the actor, comedian, and musician was hospitalized on April 12, 2023, due to a “medical complication.”
He was shooting a new Hollywood blockbuster in Atlanta when he fell ill and was rushed to the hospital, where he has been since the incident.
The details behind Foxx’s hospitalization have yet to be disclosed by his family who has asked for privacy at this time.
His daughter, Corinne Foxx, posted a brief statement on Instagram on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, writing: “We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday [April 11].”
The statement continued: “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

The American actor was in the middle of filming a new Netflix comedy called Back In Action, where he stars alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close when he was struck down suddenly.
REST AND RECOVERY
Jamie also hosts the Fox network game show Beat Shazam,but The U.S. Sun revealed a guest host will fill in while he recovers.
A source exclusively claimed to The U.S. Sun: “Nick Cannon will be hosting this season of Beat Shazam. The show is filming in Ireland and will begin production today.”
The insider said of Jamie’s health: “Jamie’s condition is better. Yes they want all the prayers still, but he is nearly there. The doctors are confident he will be released soon.”
Jamie has a new project he will be working on going into the fall, which has not been postponed currently.
Nick, 42, is close friends with Jamie, as he offered an update on his condition at the end of April and teased he will be doing a “favor” for the actor.
He told ET: “Man, I’m praying. You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother.
“I know he’s doing so much better because I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor.”


The Daily Cannon host continued of the favor: “I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon. I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing.
“He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it.”
