Glenn Hoddle says Ivan Perisic ‘hasn’t performed’ for Tottenham Hotspur following their 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.
After winning the Serie A title in the colours of Inter Milan, alongside Antonio Conte, he decided to bring Ivan Perisic with him to Spurs after his contract expired at the San Siro.
The 34-year-old, given Tottenham’s current situation, is probably regretting all of that now because Inter have one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Whilst life started well for the Croatia international upon arriving at Hotspur Way, as the games have ticked on, it just hasn’t clicked for him.
And Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle was sure to call him out for his latest performance, as he told BT Sport (15/04/23 at 4:35 pm).
“Perisic, you have to see he hasn’t performed like I thought he was going to perform in a Spurs shirt,” said Hoddle.

TOTTENHAM NEED AN OVERHAUL
One of the biggest problems for Tottenham is their defence, from Davinson Sanchez, who was booed by his own fans today to a right wing-back spot where four players have been used in recent years.
Daniel Levy better hope Harry Kane signs his new deal because, if he heads for the exit door, then there are major issues from back to front.
Until then, Cristian Stellini has to try and rescue a season that could result in Spurs finishing outside of the European spots altogether given the form of the teams behind them.
