Tim Sherwood says ‘it doesn’t matter’ if Son Heung-min is shooting with his left or right foot because he is good at both in equal measures following Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.
The 29-year-old opened the scoring for Tottenham when he slotted home a first-time finish from inside the penalty area with his left foot.
It was Ivan Perisic that fed Son Heung-min, and for the second Premier League game running, he found the back of the net.

That’s a small positive for Son because, since Antonio Conte’s exit, he is starting to find his goalscoring feet, after a campaign that saw him look like the shadow of the player that won the Golden Boot last term.
But, it’s a different story for his team, whose performances have been abject since Conte left, and now they suffered a stoppage-time defeat to a team fighting relegation.
Nonetheless, following Son’s goal today, Sherwood shared his thoughts on the South Korea star and his ability to score with both feet, as he told Premier League Productions (15/04/23 at 4:00 pm).
“Yeah, it’s a good finish from Son,” said Sherwood. “He is in a rich vein of form. He has hit a bit of form and all of a sudden (he’s scoring).

“It was a slow start. Perisic does well, he cuts this one back, and then it’s a first-time finish. Left foot or right foot. It doesn’t matter to this boy. A good finish.”

SAME OLD TOTTENHAM
Sitting fifth in the Premier League table, falling away from the Champions League places, with two confident teams in Aston Villa and Brighton hunting them down, it’s not going down well for Spurs.
The problem for Spurs is that, since Antonio Conte’s sacking, their performances have been woeful.
And, at this rate, they will only slip further down the table and, forget about Champions League football, they will miss out on Europe altogether if they don’t get their act together.
