HE is now one of the biggest names in the UK music scene with a reported £26 million in the bank.
But things haven’t always been so easy for the Vossi Bop rapper, 29, who grew up having to wear his sister’s clothes because his family had hardly any money.

But his humble upbringing has clearly had a lasting impact for the better after he went on to become one of the most sought-after artists in the world, headlining Glastonbury and scoring No1 albums.
And yesterday it was revealed that Stormzy has teamed up with Wilfried Zaha to buy Croydon Athletic as part of a three-man consortium.
The announcement from the south London club revealed the move to “acquire the assets of the club” was “many months” in the making.
It read: “We are delighted to embark on a new era at AFC Croydon Athletic, subject to final FA and league approval. This has been the culmination of many months of discussions.”
Zaha and Stormzy have been joined by former Crystal Palace kit manager Danny Young.
The statement continued: “The consortium will own, operate and develop their childhood hometown football club.”

Stormzy, who has dated Maya Jama, is thought to have made his millions through touring and a series of high profile gigs, including playing at the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix.
As well as his solo music, the rapper has collaborated with the likes of Dave and Little Mix.
His has splashed a lot of cash over the years on an incredible car collection, which includes a £100k Mercedes G Wagon to £200k Lamborghini.
But the star is also well known for giving back – he has funded scholar- ships for six black students at Cambridge University.
And he has pledged £10million over the next ten years to organisations, charities and movements involved in tackling racial inequality.
