SINGER Ingrid Andress has admitted to being drunk while singing the national anthem during Monday night’s Home Run Derby.
The country star owned up to being wasted during her performance after her rendition was widespread over social media.
“I’m not gonna bulls**t y’all, I was drunk last night,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Ingrid also admitted that she would be checking herself into a rehabilitation facility to receive help.
“That was not me last night,” she added.
“I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country that I love so much for that rendition.”
Ingrid also said she’d let followers know “how rehab is,” joking that she hears “it’s super fun.”
Ingrid took the center of Globe Life Field prior to the 2024 T-Mobile Home Run Derby in Arlington, Texas on Monday.
After her off-key performance, Ingrid received immediate backlash from those who thought she “rivaled Fergie” in singing the worst rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.
