Pundit Michael Brown has said that he could foresee Vincent Kompany becoming the next manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
A claim was made by journalist Alasdair Gold on Wednesday that Spurs’ Head of Coaching Methodology could put in a good work for the Burnley boss to take over duties in N17.
It seems like pundit Michael Brown has analysed the developments surrounding the Tottenham manager post and could see Vincent Kompany being handed the baton.
Pundit backs Vincent Kompany for Tottenham manager job
Johan Boskamp and Ander van der Meyde described the Manchester City icon as a genuine ‘big name’ in the coaching space outside England, while branding him as a ‘world-beater.’

While the Sun referred to the 36-year-old as a ‘leading candidate’ to take over the role last Thursday.
Pundit Michael Brown says that while Vincent Kompany may not be on top of the Tottenham manager wish list, he could still get the job.

“We had a sit down with him, and I asked him the question, I said, ‘Pep Guardiola has said that you’re going to be the Man City manager’, and he said that he has so much work to do.”
“I’ve been really impressed by what he’s done and he’s someone on the radar, you’re asking me who would be good for Spurs. There will be so many options for Spurs”, he said on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast.
Risky business
While the pundit is right to tip Vincent Kompany as a top candidate to land the role as Tottenham manager, it may be way too much of a gamble.
As brilliant as Kompany has been at Burnley, the weight of expectations at Spurs is a different ball game, especially considering the pessimism that surrounds the club.
With that in a mind, perhaps a more seasoned manager would be a smarter appointment at this point in time for the club.
