IHOP is giving away free pancakes on National Pancake Day 2023 as the charitable event enters its seventeenth year.
National days dedicated to food items are always exciting, thanks to the amazing deals and offers that come with them. Days after celebrating National Pizza Day, which saw a number of restaurants and chains offer free pizzas to customers, it’s time to grab some pancakes for free of cost.
Even though February 21 is recognized nationally as Pancake Day in 2023, IHOP is celebrating it on the 28 to honor the delicious flat cake while keeping in mind a cause.
How to get free pancakes at IHOP on National Pancake Day
On National Pancake Day 2023, IHOP is giving a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes for its dine-in customers only.
You can visit any participating branch from 7 am to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 28, to grab the free pancakes.
Furthermore, the Reward Members can get 2x Pancoins on National Pancake Day by purchasing any additional menu items.
For the past seventeen years, IHOP has had its own National Pancake Day, with the date varying every year, but always falling within the months of February or March.
Celebration for a cause
IHOP first observed its own National Pancake Day in 2006 by holding fundraisers in observance of Fat Tuesday.

All the proceedings from the same are used to support Children’s Miracle Network and other national charities throughout the month.
According to Chiff.com, more than four million pancakes are served for free on this day, with more than three million raised in funds for charity.
As the report suggests, IHOP Is expected to top that record in 2023.
