After Arsenal defeated Bournemouth 3-2 on Saturday, Paul Merson made a prediction that Arsenal will go on to win the Premier League title.
The Gunners legend, Cesc Fabregas, Folarin Balogun and Johan Djorou were extremely complimentary of the man of the moment, Reiss Nelson, who stole the headlines with a last-minute belter from outside the box to seal the victory.
Now, Paul Merson has made a prediction that Arsenal will indeed win the Premier League title after their triumph against Bournemouth.
Paul Merson makes prediction that Arsenal will win the Premier League title after Bournemouth heroics
Whilst many have doubted Mikel Arteta’s side’s credentials to get the job done, it seems naïve to question this bunch anymore that combine their breath-taking style of play with an unrelenting drive to win that makes them one of the finest teams in the world currently.
When quizzed about whether Arsenal will win the Premier League title after their win against Bournemouth, Paul Merson explained his prediction on Sky Sports, saying, “I think they win the league, I really do. They just keep on going and going and don’t know when they’re beaten. That’s 4 on the trot. And I know before and during the show, you [Jeff Stelling] went, ‘Look, who they’ve beaten.’

“You’ve got to remember the roll they were on because they started winning these games. They go 1-0 down at [Aston] Villa after 10 minutes after they’ve lost 3 on the trot or so. Just been well beaten by Man City at the end.”
“They’ve just bounced back and gone to a hard Leicester, I think they’ve done brilliantly. I think the next 3 games will be defining for me. I think if they win their next 3 games, I don’t see how they don’t win it.”
The fact of the matter is that the prediction made by Paul Merson is not a bold win as Arsenal proved against Bournemouth that have what it takes to win the Premier League title.
