Thierry Henry says if he was Harry Kane then he would have left Tottenham Hotspur ‘a long time ago’ after they were knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday night by AC Milan, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (08/03/23 at 10:05 pm).
The Arsenal legend pointed out how Kane previously ‘tried to leave’ Spurs when Manchester City came knocking and he ‘can’t understand’ why the 29-year-old decided to stay and is still at Hotspur Way.
Well, during these past few weeks, things have gone from bad to worse for the London club.

Booted out of the FA Cup by a second-string Championship side, losing ground in the top-four race in the Premier League and now their 1-0 aggregate defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League.
What is even worse for Antonio Conte’s men is that they didn’t even lay a glove on the Italian champions during their goalless draw in the second leg – Richarlison even proceeded to call out the manager, Antonio Conte.
Nonetheless, Henry was asked to share his thoughts on Kane’s future when Tottenham were booted out and he was pretty blunt in his response.
“Yes, I think so (Kane will leave),” said Henry. “I didn’t think they were going to win it (the Champions League) even if they went through.

On why would Kane leave now: “Why would he stay? If I was him. I would have left a long time ago. But I am not him. I can’t understand.
“Anyway, he tried. He tried to leave, no?! If I was a player, he does whatever he wants. But I would have left a long time ago.”

KANE SHOULD LEAVE
Those at the top of the Tottenham boardroom are going to be questioned, big time!
Their £200k-a-week star (Spotrac) is breaking every individual record possible, but that team trophy alludes him.
Given that he will have 12 months left on his Tottenham contract in the summer and he is yet to sign a new deal, then that tells you everything you need to know on his part.
