Thierry Henry has told Manchester United to buy Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane over Napoli’s rising striker, Victor Osimhen, during the summer transfer market.
The Premier League legend spoke about how Kane understands England’s top-flight and how the Tottenham hitman can ‘play everywhere’, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (15/03/23 at 10:10 pm).
In the summer, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, who will be in the Champions League, will be looking for an out-and-out number nine as they bid to push for the Premier League title.

They have Wout Weghorst on their books, but he is on loan from Burnley and he will be expected to return to his parent club when that loan deal expires in the summer.
Therefore, with Kane’s, 29, contract having nearly 12 months left to run, it has opened the question as to what will happen to the England captain’s future.
And when Jamie Carragher asked Thierry Henry to pick between Kane and Osimhen, if he was Manchester United, he issued the following response.
Carragher asked, “If you are Manchester United, would you go for him (Osimhen) or Harry Kane.”
Henry responded: “Again, Sorry Spurs fans. Sorry Napoli fans. But we are talking about now something that can happen or not, it’s far from it.

“But, again, because of the Premier League and he knows the Premier League. If I am Man United, then I go Kane. That doesn’t mean Osimhen isn’t a good player, or whatever. It’s got nothing to do with that.
“I think Osimhen can adapt in any league. But I am Man United, then I will look at ‘okay, this guy doesn’t need to adapt to anything and he has a way of dropping that can allow Marcus Rashford to run in-behind him when he drops’. Kane can play anywhere, by the way.”

KANE NEEDS A FRESH CHALLENGE
Whatever happens with Tottenham this season, it seems as though Kane has run his cause in north London and it is time to leave.
Whether that’s moving to Old Trafford for a fresh new challenge, or abroad. Something has to give now.
In truth, Kane either makes that move this summer, or he stays at Hotspur Way and signs a new contract for a club that still probably doesn’t know who their manager will be for next season.
