Who doesn’t love a comedy-drama? Netflix is back, this time with an angry comical series that explores the lives of two strangers after they share a brief encounter on the road. So, how many episodes are in Beef, and will there be a second season?
Originally an A24 production, Beef follows Amy and Danny after they collide in a road rage incident, an become consumed by their furious altercation. A bizarre yet interesting concept and one that has caught the attention of viewers all over.
Beef stars Steven Yeun in the role of Danny Cho alongside Ali Wong in the role of Amy Lau as the Netflix series dives deep into the complex lives of both characters and the spiraling impact of their seemingly innocuous run-in at the start of the show.

How many episodes are in Beef?
Beef will consist of 10 episodes in total.
All 10 of which are available to binge as they were released at one go on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The series is exclusive to the Netflix streaming platform.

Will there be a second season?
Currently, neither Netflix nor A24 has announced plans for a second season of Beef.

However, as discussed in an interview with Elle, series creator Lee Sung Jin originally intended for the series to be an anthology-based production.
“Cards on the table, we did pitch this show as a limited anthology, so there is sort of a close-ended-ness to the story [of Danny and Amy]”
This likely means audiences will have to bid farewell to Amy and Danny if there is to be another installment.
Although, it seems Lee has a soft spot for his characters as he further stated, “But, if given the opportunity, of course, I’d love to explore them further, because Danny and Amy, I love those characters.”
He continued, “By design though, this is a close-ended narrative.”
When addressing the potential plot lines for season 2, Lee stated he has many ideas and plans to explore “multiple other beefs and other character types”.

Beef is available to stream now on Netflix after releasing on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
