Darren Bent thinks Arsenal’s January transfer target and Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk is playing with ‘zero confidence’ after his poor showing during Ukraine’s Euro 2024 qualifier defeat to England on Sunday at Wembley.
Arsenal-mad pundit Bent mentioned on Twitter the ‘hefty price tag’ Chelsea paid for Mykhailo Mudryk and how it’s not doing him any favours.
The 22-year-old is only a few months into new surroundings, so he needs time to settle and produce the goods.

But, as of this moment, the £89 million player (Sky Sports), needs some luck or a change in form because he was dealt with against England on Sunday.
Arsenal’s star boy Bukayo Saka was running riot in the capital, and at one point, he even put Mudryk on the floor which was captured by the cameras.
Nonetheless, after Mikel Arteta wanted Mudryk at Arsenal and then Chelsea hijacked that deal, boyhood Arsenal fan Bent spoke about that transfer.
CHELSEA’S ENVIRONMENT DOESN’T HELP
Even £100 million players like Jack Grealish, who were brought up in the Premier League, need time to settle in and that is for a team that’s the best in the world.
So, imagine what Mudryk needs during his time of struggle.
The Ukraine star’s problem is that he has joined a team in Chelsea that could sack their manager anytime soon or do the unthinkable again and win the European Cup.
