Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has said on Sky Sports Premier League (10:19pm, March 17, 2023) that Alexander Isak was tired after the match against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Eddie Howe’s Newcastle got the better of Steve Cooper’s Newcastle 2-1 away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Isak started the match.
The Sweden international striker scored both the goals.
The second goal came from the penalty spot in the third minute of injury time.
It proved to be the winner.
Isak scored his first goal in first-half injury time.
