Pundit Darren Bent has made the claim that Mason Mount, who has been linked with a transfer to Liverpool could play for any ‘Big Six’ club in the Premier League.
Football.London reported at the end of March that Chelsea could demand a £70 million fee to sell the Champions League winner.

With a report on Tuesday claiming that Liverpool and Mason Mount held ‘positive’ transfer talks, pundit Darren Bent has boldly said that he could feature for every top six club.

The 24-year-old has had a hellish season at Stamford Bridge, as his place in the side has become irregular, while his stock has well and truly plummeted.
So much so that many have started to consider whether the hype surrounding Mount has always been overblown.
Pundit Darren Bent clearly does not think so, as he assessed the reported interest from Liverpool in a transfer for Mason Mount by saying that he could start for any top six club in the league.

“I think he could start for Liverpool. He’s got legs, he works hard, doesn’t shirk it. Newcastle, he could start. I think he could potentially start for yours [Andy Goldstein] boys [Manchester United] maybe”, he told talkSPORT.
“But I think he could go to any top six squad but the definite [in terms of regularly starting] for me, Liverpool. They could definitely start him.”
HITC View: The pundit is right
While Mount’s critics may laugh this claim off, he could certainly make for a useful squad addition for any top six club.
Pundit Darren Bent is right in being optimistic about Mason Mount, who has shown his quality at the highest level in the past and could do the same at Liverpool if a transfer goes through.
Considering the Cobham graduate has proven his class against the very best in the past, why question his ability based on one poor season?
