Hayden Panettiere’s younger brother, Jansen, known for his feature in shows such as AMC’s The Walking Dead and children’s show, Blue’s Clues, passed away at 28, reports TMZ. The cause of the artist’s death hasn’t been revealed.
Just like his famous sister, Jansen started his acting career at a young age and even worked alongside Hayden in Tiger Cruise in 2004 and Racing Striped in 2005.
Jansen’s family is yet to release an official statement about his tragic death.

Who did Jansen Panettiere play in The Walking Dead?
Jansen played the role of Casper in Season 9 of The Walking Dead. He was a part of the Hilltop community, which hosted the survivors of the zombie outbreak.
He was seen in the episode titled The Calm Before in which he and three other members get ambushed by the Alpha on their way to a fair in a horse-drawn wagon.
He is later discovered by Daryl, Michonne, Carol, and Yumiko after having turned into a zombie. Before he could attack anyone, Yumiko takes down the zombie version of the Hilltop resident by shooting an arrow into his head.
The series doesn’t navigate Casper’s life prior to the zombie outbreak.
Hayden Panettiere’s brother was five years younger
Hayden and Jansen shared an age difference of five years. They were born to their parents Lesley Vogel and Skip Panettiere.

Unlike his famous sibling, Jansen maintained a pretty private life; mostly using his Instagram account with more than 12,000 followers to exhibit his artwork.
Jansen was also an artist whose paintings and digital artworks can be found on his social media profile. He owned a clothing line named after him.
A picture added to his highlight only a couple of weeks ago shows Hayden giving her younger sibling a haircut. That’s the only picture of them together on his profile.
He started acting in the early 2000s
Some of Jansen’s initial projects at the beginning of his acting career in the 2000s included Evan Stevens, Robots, and Ice Age: The Meltdown.
He had a recurring role as Truman X in Nickelodeon’s The X’s. He worked in Disney and Nickelodeon original films and even won a Young Artist Award nod in 2008 for his role in The Last Day of Summer.
Reportedly, Jansen was working on five projects at the time of his death.
