AMERICAN pop star Halsey has a dating history that includes a long list of celebrities.
Here’s what to know about who the singer is currently dating.
Who has Halsey dated?
The Grammy-nominated artist, whose real name is Ashley Frangipane, has been in several relationships during her successful career.
Some of her celebrity exes include British musician Yungblud, Machine Gun Kelly, producer Lido, G-Eazy, and Matt Healy.
The artist previously said her high-profile romances served as an inspiration for her lyrics.
Matty Healey
Halsey was once rumored to be involved with The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy.
In a Billboard interview from 2015, Halsey said, “I spent a lot of time watching him, and he spent a lot of time loving being watched.”
“But if you think he’s the first red-wine-drinking, pretty-boy rocker in skinny jeans I’ve been associated with, you’re out of your f*king mind,” she continued.
Lido
In 2015, Halsey dated Norwegian producer Lido, who also produced her debut album Badlands.
Halsey opened up to Rolling Stones after the couple broke up.
She said, “I had killed off a version of myself just so we could make our love work.
“Sometimes you’re in a relationship for so long and you become a different person. You lose yourself because you change for that person.”
The two worked on each other’s albums even after their split. In 2017, she told Dazed about that experience.
She said, “Were there moments when we were in the studio where we absolutely f—ing hated each other? For sure.
“But also, working together kind of reminds you that from a human perspective, you care about this person more than what your romantic relationship indicated. … I think for both of us, it was therapeutic.”
Machine Gun Kelly
In 2016, Halsey was linked to actor and rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
The two arrived together at the premiere of his Showtime series, Roadies.
In June 2017, MGK opened up to Rolling Stone about their relationship.
He said, “I won’t comment exactly on titles or labels or anything, but what I will say is I feel 16 again.”
However, the following month Halsey denied that they were together on X, then known as Twitter.
She tweeted, “I’m not with anybody… Everyone mind they damn business.”
They collaborated on the 2020 song Forget Me Too.
G-Eazy
Halsey and rapper G-Eazy reportedly met at a party in 2017. They began dating that year and even released a song together.
The couple promoted the track, Him and I, by performing the song together on shows like Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America.
The couple split briefly in July 2018 but reunited by August. Their reunion was short lived and they split for good in October.
In an October 2018 appearance on The Zach Sang Show, Halsey said: “I have to be honest, [writing ‘Without Me’] led me to my decision [to break up with G-Eazy] at that time.
“I listened to what I wrote and went, ‘Oh my god, is that how I feel? If that’s how I feel I need to put the pause on this thing right now.
“I’m obviously talking about my relationship. So the song happened first. And it was just this moment of sincerity.”
Yungblud
Halsey moved on from G-Eazy with English musician Yungblud. People reports that they met after Halsey slid into his DMs in November 2018.
The couple became Instagram official in January 2019. However, by October that year the two had gone their separate ways.
Halsey confirmed the split with a tweet that read, “Sometimes. people just break up.
“It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f—ed up. sometimes. it just happens. because life is constantly changing. and adults stay friends and move on.”
Evan Peters
After Halsey split with Yungblud, she began dating American Horror Story actor Evan Peters.
The two stars were first spotted holding hands in September 2019.
They made their relationship official in October 2019 by posing on a red carpet together dressed in Sonny and Cher Halloween costumes.
But by March 2020, rumors started that their relationship was coming to an end.
Halsey never confirmed the separation but deleted most of her pictures with the actor from her Instagram.
Alev Aydin
Halsey also was in a long-term relationship with writer and producer Alev Aydin.
The lovebirds first connected in 2018 as professionals after Aydin was set to write a biopic about Halsey’s life.
But the film never happened and the couple started a romantic relationship instead.
Halsey welcomed her first baby with Alev Aydin on July 14, 2021.
The “Without Me” singer shared black-and-white photos of her son, Ender Ridley, on Instagram, writing, “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.”
She first announced her pregnancy in January 2021 with a series of nude pictures showing her baby bump.
On social media, Aydin wrote: “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.”
Halsey replied, “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini-human already!”
In April 2023 they went their separate ways and put an end to their romantic relationship.
Avan Jogia
Halsey is currently in a relationship with former Victorious actor Avan Jogia.
The two were seen packing on PDA at a live performance in Los Angeles on September 18, 2023.
The speculated new couple has also been seen out together multiple times since her break up with Aydin.
