The actress took to the platform on Friday night to update her fans with a fresh look.
The singer posed for a selfie in bright lighting while wearing full glam makeup.
Halle showed off her dreads that had been chopped into a short bob as she gazed at the camera.

The Chloe x Halle star sported silver jewelry as she modeled the new style for her 7.1million followers.
The Grammy-nominated artist captioned her post: “short hair don’t care,” with a black heart and sparkle emoji.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed something awry with Halle’s face in the snaps, as they took to the comments to voice their suspicions.
“Ok I love you Halle but is it me or is her nose spreading? If you are pregnant please embrace it it’s a beautiful thing!” one wrote, opening up the conversation.
The comment received nearly 300 likes of agreement as others shared their own speculation.
“No, it’s not you, I see it too, congrats to her!” a second agreed.

BABY ON THE WAY?
Halle has been the center of pregnancy speculation in recent months as her relationship with internet personality DDG continues.
Earlier this week, the vocalist covered up her mid-section while wearing an oversized jacket in the background of her rapper boyfriend’s new photo.
The 23-year-old has been increasingly wearing loose and oversized clothing to all of her recent public appearances.
DDG – Darryl Dwayne Granberry, 25 – took to Snapchat to post a cute photo of Halle on Thursday.
The couple appeared to be out somewhere in Los Angeles, California, and Halle had an ear-to-ear smile in the snap.
There was little context that came with the snap, but DDG captioned the post: “I’m finna perform.”
Halle wore a giant oversized half-zip sweater and the photo cropped off her stomach.
Nothing was revealed in the clip beneath her ribs.
Her midsection was entirely concealed from viewers’ suspecting eyes as Halle has sparked pregnancy rumors since August.

Last month, fans shared a video compilation on X, formerly known as Twitter, detailing their trail of clues the star may be expecting.
Fans reposted several clips of Halle wearing baggy clothes around her boyfriend and sister in recent weeks.
In mid-September, fans went wild over her choice of outfit at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Halle wore a flowing orange halter gown, which had loose pleats that covered her stomach.
Fueling the rumors, an insider at the VMAs told Page Six: “Halle stayed away from the pink carpet so she would not be photographed, and when she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs, and who she gave them to.”
Another source revealed that the “orange dress flow was an indicator she was trying to hide.
“She would keep her distance when someone got too close, and she gave out more handshakes than her [usual] enduring embraces.”
