Hailey Bieber dresses as Mean Girls characters for Halloween- and fans think she’s sending a message to Selena Gomez

HAILEY Bieber has shared another head-turning costume for Halloween.

Hailey, 26, let everyone know she is the “mean girl” as she dressed up as Cady Heron, Gretchen Wieners, Karen Smith, and Regina George from the hit 2004 comedy film, Mean Girls.

In the first snap posted on the supermodel’s Instagram, Hailey transformed into the characters as they were placed on the movie poster.

In the second picture, the Rhode founder placed a photo of herself in the infamous Burn Book and wrote: “This girl is the nastiest skank b***h I have ever met. Do not trust her she is a fugly slut.”

There were even devil horns and a mustache scribbled in red ink on Hailey’s picture.

Justin Bieber’s wife captioned the photo with: “She doesn’t even go here! HAPPY HALLOWEEN.”

However, many fans thought this was inspired by the events that happened earlier this year between her and Selena Gomez, 31.

‘SUCH A POWERFUL MOVE’

Fans flooded Hailey’s comment section, praising her for “roasting” the people who called her a “mean girl.”

“You had one chance to do the funniest thing in the world and you did it,” one person said.

“She did this for everyone that was assuming she was the ‘mean girl.’ You are iconic, Hailey,” said a second.

A third shouted: “This is such a powerful move,” as another commented, “She is roasting the haters.”

“You have won,” one user reacted.

HAILEY VS SELENA

Back in February 2023, Hailey and BFF Kylie Jenner, 26, were accused of making fun of Selena and her eyebrows after the pop music star posted a TikTok video of herself with overly-laminated brows.

Kylie and Selena were quick to come out and say there was no drama between them, however, Hailey remained silent.

A few hours later, Selena commented on another TikTok video that discussed how she had been handling the ‘mean girls.’

In the post’s comments, Selena wrote: “I love you,” which sparked rumors that she felt the same way.

On February 23, Selena commented on a TikTok video where Hailey can be seen gagging over the mention of Taylor Swift’s name.

Selena commented in defense of her famous best friend.

She wrote: “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”

ADDRESSING EVERYTHING

On March 24, 2023, the Only Murders in the Building star addressed Hailey and their mutual fans via Instagram.

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” she said.

“This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying.

“I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”

It appeared the pair called a truce after Selena followed Hailey on the above-mentioned platform.

‘LOVE WILL ALWAYS BE BIGGER’

That same day, Hailey took matters into her own hands.

She shared her own Instagram Story to reply to the Rare Beauty founder’s earlier post.

She responded: “I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I.

“The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful.

“Things can always be taken out of context or construed differently than they were intended.”

Hailey added: “In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.”
