GWYNETH Paltrow’s Goop lifestyle brand is offering a hormone conference for an eye-watering $1,600.
An insider revealed that the Hollywood star has been pushing her business as hard as ever before – despite her recent ski accident court win.

The $250million wellness empire’s pricey Goop Immersive event – billed as The Hormonal Edition – is due to take place in Santa Monica, California on April 15.
Promising to be “one of our most intimate, potent experiences”, it will offer hormone workshops and panels, a breakout class on “connection and intuition”, and an ask-me-anything session with Paltrow herself.
The company said in an invite to the event: “We’ll be focusing on hormones and the inherent challenges, opportunities, and beauty that come with navigating transition and change as we age.”
It comes as mom-of-two Paltrow, 50, won “symbolic” damages of $1 plus legal fees at Park City district court in Utah on March 30.
Retired eye specialist Terry Sanderson, 76, had sued her for $300,000 for allegedly crashing into him from behind at the Deer Valley resort.
He claimed he suffered four broken ribs and a permanent brain injury that has dramatically changed his personality for the worse.
The Iron Man actress countersued and said that it was Sanderson who ran into her back with a “full body hit.”
The jury found that Sanderson was “100% at fault” for the crash after just two hours of deliberations.

‘HARD-DRIVING PERSONALITY’
A source with knowledge of Goop said that Paltrow refused to let her legal drama get in the way of working on her business.
Insiders say that she regularly pulls 12-hour days to keep up with the demands it places on her.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun: “Gwyneth is all but retired from acting so that she can give Goop as much of her attention as possible, and it’s been worth it.
“The company is genuinely and verifiably worth hundreds of millions of dollars and grows every year, reliably, even with headwinds like the pandemic.
“But Goop isn’t the problem. It’s a business that could run perfectly fine for long stretches of Gwyneth not being there.
“The issue is Gwyneth’s hard-driving, goal-oriented personality.

“It colors everything about her business and her life, good and bad.
“You saw that when she took the stand in her own defense.
“Her secret weapon is that she can be incredibly harsh and direct when she needs to be.
“This is not some precious overgrown debutant, Gwyneth is a leader who takes responsibility for herself, that’s her essence.
“And it’s led her to push herself harder than ever in pursuit of the glory and success of this business.
“But it doesn’t have to be this way.
“She has serious businesspeople inside the organization who can take some of the weight off her shoulders.
“She just hasn’t let them do that yet.”
GOOP CONTROVERSY
Goop has regularly made headlines – and courted controversy – since Paltrow first founded it as a new age-influenced newsletter in 2008.
Critics have claimed that the company markets products and treatments that amount to “snake oil” and are based on pseudoscience.
The company settled a false advertising lawsuit out of court for $145,000 in September 2018 after being sued by officials in California.
Goop was said to have made unfounded claims about products such as a blend of essential oils that it said fights depression and two jade and quartz eggs that supposedly boost women’s sexual energy.
In January 2020 the company made headlines again when it began selling a $75 candle called “This Smells Like My Vagina”.
Paltrow has described criticisms of the brand as “cultural firestorms” which create a deluge of traffic to Goop’s website, adding: “I can monetize those eyeballs.”
Goop has also been criticized for elitism and exorbitant prices, including a gift guide that once suggested a $5,800 leather toiletry bag.
Paltrow hit back at those claims in 2016, saying: “Sometimes I’ll get annoyed if someone’s like, ‘Goop is so expensive.’

“I’m like, ‘Have you looked at the website? Have you seen the range of price points? ‘Cause we sell things that are $8.’
“I’m like, ‘If you want to f**k with me, bring your A-game. At least have all your information.'”
