GINGER Zee has been socially snubbed by her co-workers.
The Good Morning America meteorologist celebrated her birthday on Saturday. But you wouldn’t know it from the apparent lack of recognition online.

Ginger, who turned 43 on January 13, spent her birthday on the beaches of Anguilla in the Caribbean sea.
She shared a photo on Instagram of a beautiful sunset over the water, which allowed fans to flood the comments section with happy birthday wishes.
Ginger’s Instagram stories revealed more b-day love from close friends, weather producer Max Golembo and even a special shout-out from the North Shore Animal League.
However, noticeably silent were her close co-workers, including Sam Champion and Robin Roberts.
Robin, 63, didn’t seem to post anything on her timeline or Stories on Saturday.
But Sam, 62, shared several celebratory snaps from a trip he took to Miami Beach, Florida, indicating he was active on social media.
SUBSTITUTE SAM
There was little doubt that Sam was aware it was Ginger’s birthday, especially after he sat in for her while she enjoyed her vacation.
Sam typically fills in when many anchors are unavailable for a period of time.
Ginger confirmed her break on X, formerly known as Twitter, in a reply to a fan.
“Taking a few days ahead of my next trip around the sun but appreciate every day I get to spend with you all for sure!” she wrote.
The fan had initially reached out to say they would miss the meteorologist for rest of the week on GMA while she was out.
The morning show did offer Ginger their obligatory on-air wishes.
In a clip posted to her Instagram Stories, the entire GMA crew wished Ginger a happy birthday.
They presented her with a delicious cake and other treats while sitting in a circle around the studio.
SICK OF IT ALL
Ginger’s b-day vacay comes just weeks after another extended hiatus – although that one was a lot less fun.
Ginger divulged on her personal Instagram account just after the start of the new year that she was “grateful” to no longer be sick.
Her gratitude was expressed in a post with a side-by-side photo of her on the couch sick and in full makeup behind-the-scenes.
“Most of our holiday break was spent incredibly sick for our entire family… hard to believe I’m the same person from left to today on right,” Ginger captioned.
“BEYOND GRATEFUL to be back and healthy again. Sending you all peace in 2024!”
FLU THE COOP
Ginger is often very open up about her life on social media, including her health struggles.
In February 2023, she shared on Instagram a clip of herself sick in bed as she lamented having the flu.
Ginger captioned her post: “Verified Flu & COVID within a month. Special. Hope you all are healthy. I’ll be back as soon as I am able. #flu #covid #sick”
Clad in a black shirt with a messy updo, the GMA mainstay looked around as she spoke to the camera.
“It’s really unbelievable,” Ginger began as she recorded the video from her bed.
“Flu three weeks ago, Covid, and…we’re not sure,” she said with a raspy voice.
“Miles [her son with husband Ben Aaron] has been throwing up a lot, so I guess this is what you get with Pre-K,” Ginger said as she ended the short clip.
