GEORGE Stephanopoulos has warned Demi Moore to not take his statement the wrong way as he revealed a text message from his daughter about the Ghost star.
On Wednesday, Demi, 61, appeared on Good Morning America to promote her new FX series, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, before its premiere that evening.
At the start of the interview, the GMA hosts promptly asked Demi about her dog Pilaf – who has become a celebrity in her own right.
Michael Strahan, 52, stated, “Pilaf has been on red carpets, been doing all this promotions… is he used to the fame? Enjoying the fame?”
The Indecent Proposal star replied, “I think the truth is, she’s the star and I’m her accessory.”
George, 62, then interjected, “Don’t take this the wrong way [but] the only text I got from my daughter this morning was ‘Is the dog here?'”
Demi claimed that Pilaf is “the greatest gift” that she’s ever been given and that she’s like her “little extra heart.”
The Hollywood actress continued, “She’s been my traveling companion for the last, almost two years now that I’ve had her… and she’s just magical, she has something magical about her.”
Last year, all the attention was on Demi as the actress shared a series of photos from Paris Fashion Week wearing some sexy clothing.
Demi wrapped up her trip overseas with some selfies from her hotel bed.
The 61-year-old showed off her timeless body in a plunging black dress.
She smiled as she rolled around on the luxury sheets with black combat boots on.
In a subsequent photo, Demi’s overhead angle only emphasized her chest even more.
Demi underplayed the sexiness in the caption, simply remarking, “Post-Fashion Month recovery mode.”
Fans in the comments section were having a hard time recovering from her hotness.
“Beauty as always,” one person exclaimed, as another added, “Love the pictures.”
A third gushed, “I’m sorry Demi, but that look and that smile melt me like a pudding. You are very attractive.”
MOORE THAN FAIR
Demi had a busy time in Paris, channeling Hollywood great Audrey Hepburn in a stunning magazine shoot.
The G.I. Jane star posed in a black-and-white dress and hat in a cover shoot for Town and Country’s October edition.
The outfit mirrors one Audrey wore in the 1964 classic film My Fair Lady.
Demi was also snapped with co-stars Diane Lane and Chloe Sevigny, right, to promote the new TV drama Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
WHAT’S THE SITUATION?
Last week, George promoted a new career adventure outside of Good Morning America.
He shared the news of the project on his Instagram, revealing the upcoming release of his book called The Situation Room: The Inside Story of Presidents in Crisis.
“From now to Friday, B&N members will receive 25% off on all preorders,” the This Week host captioned the post.
“If you haven’t preordered your copy of THE SITUATION ROOM: THE INSIDE STORY OF PRESIDENTS IN CRISIS yet, the time is now! B&N link in bio! #TheSituationRoom.”
George wrote the book with author Lisa Dickey.
He also shared the cover of the book, which featured the White House at nighttime, surrounded by trees.
According to Amazon, the book will be released on May 14.
The description reads, “George Stephanopoulos, former senior advisor to President Clinton and for more than 20 years anchor of This Week and co-anchor of Good Morning America, recounts the crises that decided the course of history, from the place 12 presidents made their highest-pressure decisions: the White House Situation Room.”
This is not the first project outside of GMA for George.
Last year, he and his wife, Ali Wentworth, executive produced the documentary, Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields.
