“What’s your favorite scary movie?” This is an iconic line asked by the Ghostface killer on the phone in Wes Craven’s 1996 classic Scream. Interestingly, many audiences could be asked this question and answer with Scream itself.
The slasher film is generally regarded as one of the most beloved of all time and has spawned a successful franchise that continues to thrive with Scream 6.
Directed by Scream 5 filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the latest sequel is set away from Woodsboro and transplants familiar characters into New York City, where they’re terrorized by a new incarnation of Ghostface.

Tony plays the new character Jason Carvey in Scream 6 but he’s arguably best known as Flash Thompson in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home.
On the other hand, you may also have seen him in such shows as Servant (Tobe), Willow (Graydon Hastur), Royalties (Theo), and Monster High (voice of Deuce Gorgon).

Looking ahead, he’s set to star in the Geoffrey Haley-directed movie Exchanged and he’ll collaborate with Wes Anderson for a third time on Asteroid City, which will also boast Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks.

Moving back to Scream, Tony revealed during an interview with Insider that he was encouraged to join the cast by co-star Mason Gooding (he plays Chad Meeks-Martin) despite never having seen any of the previous movies.
“It’s funny, I’ve never seen a Scream movie,” he confessed. “Maybe I shouldn’t have admitted that, but there we go.”
Nevertheless, he explained that Mason “sold me on why it’s such a phenomenal set, why the directors are phenomenal, and why producers are great. And he wasn’t wrong. I had the best time on set. Everyone, cast and crew, were incredible.”
