On Saturday morning, the soap opera star was shot and killed in Los Angeles.
In November 2023, Johnny, 37, shared a black-and-white snapshot of himself on Instagram during an expedition.
While standing on a rocky terrain, he carried tons of rope over his shoulders and backpack.
The General Hospital actor had a belt wrapped over his waist and a sweaty T-shirt.
Johnny shot a strong and serious look at the camera, as the background of the snap included a vast view of hills and mountains.
“Temps are coming,” he captioned the post.
Fans jumped to the star’s last post and shared their condolences following his death.
“I’m so devastated by this news. Johnny and I went to college together. He was always such an incredibly nice guy. My condolences to your loved ones,” one person wrote.
“One of the nicest humans on this earth. I’m so sorry Johnny,” another added.
“I’m so sorry. Rest easy, Johnny. So senseless. Sending so much love to your family, friends, and everyone that loved you,” a third shared.
“This made my heart stop. Condolences to your loved ones. May your soul soar to a far better place than this. You did not deserve this,” a follower wrote.
Over the weekend, the TV star was shot and killed in a theft gone wrong, according to TMZ, who broke the news.
Johnny’s mother, Scarlett, revealed the incident occurred when her son and his co-worker left a rooftop bar.
The actor supposedly saw three men messing with his car.
Although Johnny did not attempt to fight the trio, he was shot by a masked man, Scarlett told ABC7.
