The release date for when the new Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 will come out and start is very nearly here, and some huge leaks have emerged for battle pass skins and items.
Fortnite is one of the most popular battle royale multiplayer titles and there’s lots to anticipate. Update 23.50 arrived recently, and CH4 S1 has treated us to events such as a part 2 collaboration with Dragon Ball.
While the current season has been fantastic especially with the Dragon Ball collaboration, fans can look forward to another huge anime crossover judging by the recent skins and battle pass leaks.
When does the new Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 come out?
The release date for when the new Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 update will come out and start is March 9th.
The FortniteStatus Twitter account has confirmed that the CH4 S1 end date is now March 8th, which means the brand new episode should begin the very next day.
Chapter 4 season 1 has been good for players. The newly introduced shockwave hammer is still in the game after it was briefly removed, and there’s also kinetic ores which can be used to travel great distances.
Map changes for CH4 S2 point to a neo-Tokyo. Not only that, but a new version of Lucky Landing is returning, too.
The theme is sort of Cyberpunk Japan, and there will also be futuristic motorcycles as well as katanas as weapons. The pump shotgun will also return with a new variant.
Battle Pass skins leaks
Leaked battle pass skins for Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 include Eren Yeager from Attack On Titan.
This comes courtesy of ShiinaBR who says the above is the secret skin of the battle pass. In addition, ShiinaBR and Hypex have also received information claiming there will Resident Evil 2 Leon and Claire skins released in the item shop.
As if all of the above wasn’t enough, Shiina has also presented a lineup of leaked skins. It’s important to note that the images are from surveys so the costumes will look different in-game.
Lastly, leaker Wensoing has revealed the following items may be released in Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 as they were not released in S1 as intended:
- Medkit/Shield Potion Revamp: Every second you are using the item, you’ll get 10 shield/HP
- Exotic Knockback SMG
- New Burst SMG
- DPS Assault Rifle
- New “Core” versions of these weapons:
- Snipers
- DMR
- Rocket Launcher
- Revolver
None of the above has been confirmed by Epic Games as of writing.
