FaZe Rain, whose real name is Nordan Shat, recently revealed he can walk again after being in a wheelchair for two years.
YouTuber FaZe has been a social media sensation for a long time. He often took his viewers through his daily life while detailing what had happened to him.
On February 19, he confirmed that he could walk again after several years of rehabilitation sessions.
What happened to FaZe Rain?
In a video that was posted in 2021, FaZe explained that he was unable to walk due to chemical neuropathy.
The YouTuber reflected on his drug abuse. Calling it his “most embarrassing moment,” FaZe admitted he had no idea who he spoke to or how he got into it.
“Believe me when I say, I don’t remember three months of my life and it’s scary and the weirdest thing completely. You can believe me or you cannot believe me, I don’t give a sh*t. That’s the most haunting thing that happened to me and every day I think about it, I am stressed about it, and I am anxious about it because I don’t know what I did,” he says.
He can finally walk again
In an update video, the YouTuber opens up about his journey and admits he is thrilled to be able to walk again.

He says, “it’s a blessing. Don’t ever feel bad for me. I’m so happy it happened to me so don’t get it twisted. You can’t feel sorry for yourself all the time. You got to learn a lesson. There’s a reason this is happening.”
As the video continues, FaZe expressed his happiness about being able to walk, jump, and take normal steps again.
FaZe noted that for the first six months, he was unable to leave his bed and had a hard time doing basic things such as brushing his teeth or even showering.
YouTuber talks about being positive
Throughout the video, the YouTuber draws attention to feeling blessed that the incident happened as it allowed him to see the positive in things.
“God put me in the bed to make me see my actions and learn from them and be more grateful, appreciating, and understanding,” he said.
He also emphasized how it is alright to fail and learn from those experiences to come out as a better person.
Now, the YouTuber aims to focus on his work while keeping a positive mindset.
