Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has held direct talks with Gunners manager Mikel Arteta over his future amid interest from Leeds United and Newcastle United among other clubs, according to GiveMeSport.
Kieran Tierney and Mikel Arteta hold Arsenal future talks
The report has claimed Tierney and Arteta have held “face-to-face talks” over the former Celtic left-back’s future at Arsenal.
Arteta has reportedly told the Scotland international “to fight for his place” with Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Zinchenko has become the first-choice left-back for Arsenal since joining the Gunners from defending champions Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
GiveMeSport have added that “Arteta is still a little undecided whether to let” the £110,000-a-week (SalarySport) Tierney leave.
The 25-year-old is struggling for playing time at Arsenal at the moment and has a number of clubs interested in signing him in the summer transfer window.

90min have reported that Newcastle, Leicester City, Aston Villa, West Ham United and Leeds United all are monitoring the 25-year-old, and so are Burnley.
Exit likely
We believe that Tierney could really leave Arsenal at the end of the season.
Yes, the Gunners could win the Premier League and even the UEFA Europa League this season, but Tierney needs to play.
He is not doing that at Arsenal at the moment, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
