Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are both interested in snapping up Swansea City defender Nathan Wood at the end of the season.
That’s according to claims from Fabrizio Romano, who has taken to Twitter to report the interest in Wood.
Romano claims that Arsenal and Spurs are both monitoring Wood’s performances very closely ahead of a possible move.
Romano does though add that Swansea are now trying to give Wood a new deal and block him from moving to London.
Swansea only signed Wood from Middlesbrough last summer, paying just £400,000 to lure him to South Wales.
The Swans can expect big profit if they do sell now and they may even fancy engineering a bidding war between the two fierce North London rivals.

Who is Arsenal and Tottenham target Nathan Wood?
Wood was born in the North East and is actually the son of former Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough defender Dean Gordon.
Gordon made 63 league appearances for Boro but Wood didn’t get close to that tally after rising through the Middlesbrough ranks.

Wood played just five league games for Boro before being sold on to Swansea last summer.
That came after loan spells with Crewe Alexandra and Hibernian, and few really thought he would become a star after those loans.
Wood has excelled for Swansea and has featured prominently on the right side of Russell Martin’s back three.
Martin has absolutely loved Wood this season, telling BBC Sport in March that he feels the defender is ‘amazing’.
That is always going to attract interest though and both Arsenal and Spurs are seemingly positioning themselves for a move.
Still only 20, Wood has earned his first England Under-21 cap and there should be more to come.
England senior caps may even come down the line if Wood keeps developing and earns himself a big Premier League move.
