Owen Hargreaves lauded Pedro Porro, Richarlison and Harry Kane for their contributions during Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The former Bayern Munich midfielder felt that Richarlison gave Antonio Conte’s side ’so much’ during the game, whilst he felt that Emerson Royal couldn’t put in the type of crosses Porro was displaying against the relegation-threatened side.
It was Porro who lifted the ball to Harry Kane to open the scoring before the England captain doubled his side’s lead from the penalty spot moments later.

Before all of that happened, Richarlison had a goal ruled out because he was deemed offside, even though replays showed that call was very harsh, he would go onto win a penalty later on.
Nonetheless, after their Champions League exit in midweek, this was a much-needed three points for Antonio Conte and his players.
Hargreaves praised three players, including how Emerson Royal doesn’t have the attacking quality of the new kid on the block, as he told MatchDay Extra on Premier League Productions (11/03/23 at 8:30 pm).
“Richarlison gave this team so much,” said Hargreaves. “He was involved in the build-up.

“With Porro, you know, Royal can’t play that ball. But that header from Harry Kane, that’s why he scores 200+ goals. He knows exactly where the ball is coming from and where he wants to score it. He makes scoring look easy.”

PORRO’S ATTACKING QUALITIES
There has been a lot of talk about Conte’s future in north London and whether he is getting the backing that he wants.
Well, one player he can’t argue about is the January capture of Pedro Porro.
He is a Conte-type of player down to a tee and, as he gets warm in his seat, Porro will continue to show the outstanding attacking quality he has in his locker.
