Glenn Medeiros is best-known for his 1987 smash hit Nothing’s Going To Change My Love For You.
Track She Ain’t Worth It also reached Number One in America, while he also went on to find music fame in his native Hawaii.
Despite keeping an involvement in the music industry, Glenn went on to train as a teacher.
He both taught and was vice principal of a school in Hawaii before later becoming the principal of a school in Honolulu in 2017.
Yet despite shunning the limelight of fame, he has inadvertently become a TikTok star.
His daughter Lyric Medeiros posted a video to her page which saw her dancing around.
Glenn stood behind her as she posted the caption: “When my 80s teenage popstar dad asks me how often I post about him.”
He kept a straight face as she boogied around in an all-cream outfit.
She then wrote underneath her video: “Just everyday.”

One fan wrote underneath: “Looking great Glenn.”
In a recent reel, Lyric also revealed that her parents named her Lyric and her brother Chord – and the reason behind their music-themed names is because their dad was a successful 80s popstar.
Over the top of the video, she wrote: “Why did your parents name you Chord and Lyric?”
Below she added: “It all starts with the song, ‘Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You!’
“This song allowed my dad to sell over 7M records and to tour to over 30 countries! We’re forever proud of our teen popstar dad!”
Lyric has already dabbled in singing contests and beauty pageants but now wants to try her hand in acting.
Recently, a Welsh rockstar revealed he is juggling chart fame with a side hustle as a supermarket job.
We also reported how hit Eighties pop-rock band Deacon Blue had reunited for a huge London festival.
Previously, we told how the band looked very different prior to their comeback.
Meanwhile, the gig comes amid another legendary eighties rock band reunion for Death Cult, previously known as The Cult.
In what seems a wave of recent reunions, another pop band, Talking Heads, made a rare appearance together nearly 20 years on from their bitter split.
