JOY-ANNA Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, have been slammed by critics for their recent parenting decision.
The backlash came after the Counting On star uploaded a new vlog on her YouTube channel.

About a minute into the video, Joy-Anna, 25, explained to viewers that Austin, 29, was heading out of town to Denver, Colorado to hike mountains with his brother and dad.
While watching the men pack up a large RV and their motor vehicles, the TLC star reminded her husband to get his crossbow off the counter.
However, her statement didn’t go over well with fans and critics as a crossbow is a dangerous weapon that should not be within reach of children.
The married couple has three kids: Gideon, five, Evelyn, three, and Gunner.
‘SOMETHING BAD IS GONNA HAPPEN’
On a popular Duggar internet forum, one critic shared a screenshot of Joy’s statement about the crossbow – which worried fans.
“One day something really bad will happen to those kids. Not only Joy’s but the duggar’s kids in general. I was watching the old episodes and it’s full of neglectful behaviours from the adults,” one warned.
A second pointed out: “It’s just dumb luck that nothing tragic has happened at this point.”
“[It’s] unbelievable,” replied a third.
This isn’t the first time the Forsyth’s were slammed for their parenting decisions.
TRACTOR DANGER
Back in May, the TV personality shared a pic of Austin and Evelyn smiling on a large tractor.

In the first pic of many shared on her Instagram Stories, Austin had her eldest daughter on his lap while smiling for Joy-Anna.
A second photo showed Gideon smiling while standing barefoot on a dirt patch.
It was the third photo, which showed Gunner laying in just a diaper and a swaddle, that got fans buzzing, however.
The newborn appeared to be fast asleep in Joy-Anna’s lap.
The 19 Kids and Counting star captioned the post: “Bailing hay today.
“The kids got to drive the tractors and learned the process of storing up hay for the winter.”
Commenters worried about the star having the baby out in the hot weather.
Concerned fans flooded the comments, with one writing: “Shouldn’t you be at home out of the hot sun with a newborn baby[?]”
Meanwhile, others worried about Evelyn and Gideon being barefoot around farm equipment.
One explained: “Kids are adorable, but bare feet on a tractor and on a farm is a recipe for big problems. Take it from someone who grew up in farm country.”
Another warned: “Little girl needs shoes on when around farm equipment, please be careful! Cute pictures with dad.”
