How Ticketmaster prices and fees are determined, continued
All parties involved in putting on live events, such as venues, Ticketmaster, sports teams, leagues, and promoters, decide and split the ticket fees, per the ticket-seller.
This may also include service, order processing, and sometimes delivery fees.
-
How Ticketmaster prices and fees are determined
Standard admission tickets and resale tickets are the two primary categories of tickets available on Ticketmaster, according to the ticket-seller website.
The sort of ticket you’re buying will influence the costs and charges associated with it.
Regarding regular tickets, it is up to the performers, promoters, sports organizations, or teams to choose how to list their tickets on Ticketmaster’s marketplace.
This includes choosing the face value prices, the quantity of tickets to sell, and the timing of the sales.
Regarding tickets for resale, the seller—which might include fans, season ticket holders, and experienced resellers—sets the listed price.
A resale price frequently surpasses the initial face value that the artist or team set.
