DRAKE shocked fans with a kind gesture after he offered life-changing money to a fan in need.
The rapper performed his latest concert at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday on the It’s All a Blur Tour.
Drake was filmed by a fan while on stage performing from his latest EP Scary 3 Hours.
He donned a gray pair of cargo pants with a skin-tight black top.
Over the outfit, he wore a utility-style jacket.
Between songs, a fan handed the star a note.
“Put off my mom’s house, rest in peace,” he read out to the audience.
“Your mom passed away? This is the outstanding balance right here.”
Drake went on to explain that it was a lot of money.
“But you know what, I’m going to pay off your mama’s house for you.”
The crowd erupted in cheers.
“That’s a lot of money right here. That’s $160,000,” he continued.
“I’m going to pay out of my pocket, that’s where I come from.”
Drake checked the note again.
“Rest in peace to Jennifer Schumer. Rest in peace. I love you.”
“Drake just casually paying off peoples houses in Kansas City,” the fan captioned the video on X, formerly Twitter.
GOD’S PLAN
Drake’s kind gesture came just days after he promised $25,000 to a fan in Buffalo.
A huge fan attended his New York show on Tuesday February 27th.
She held up a sign from the crowd explaining she is currently tackling cancer.
Drake learnt that the fan had heft medical bills to pay for her intense treatment courses.
Between shows, Drake again noticed the sign and read it out.
He pledged a whopping $100,000 to the fan in the hopes that she could beat the disease.
“That’s a true soldier right there. Y’all better make some noise,” he told the crowd.
GIVING SPIRIT
A few months ago, Drake also paid for a Toronto-based fan to get treatment for her multiple sclerosis (MS).
Drake paused his set at Scotiabank Arena after he saw her request on her sign.
“This one’s important to me,” the artist told the crowd as he performed songs from his album For All The Dogs.
“Her sign says, ‘I just found out I have MS, will you help make my night.'”
He then spoke about his friend Noah James Shebi, who was diagnosed with MS at age 22 in 2005.
“You know, my brother 40 is one of the strongest people on earth, and he fights through a lot of things,” he said.
“So what I’m going to do is, I’m going to connect you with 40 first of all, maybe you can have a conversation.”
“And second of all, I’m going to pay whatever it takes to get you the best help in the world, I promise you that,” the crowd cheered.
“You got my word — and you can come back tomorrow night!”
BIG WIN
Drake’s good spirit of giving came after the star came away after generating a huge sum of money through bets.
Last month, the star shared on Instagram that he had placed a $1.15 million bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl.
With odds of 2.04, the estimated payout was $2.346 million.
Drake captioned a screenshot of his latest wager.
“I can’t bet against the Swifties,” he wrote in reference to Taylor Swift, who is in a relationship with the Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce.
“Drake has the script,” commented one follower.
“The boy got the script let’s go,” added another.
“”100000000% hitting,” noted a third.
