Disney Dreamlight Valley undergoes a major Easter update introducing plenty of new recipes for spring.
In the seven months since Disney released their life simulation adventure game, Dreamlight Valley has become one of the most popular additions to the franchise’s games catalog. Developed by Gameloft, Dreamlight Valley has achieved critical acclaim and commercial success, even nabbing a BAFTA Games nomination.
One of the main draws to Disney Dreamlight Valley is the seasonal updates, which see additions of new quests and characters to play with. Let’s take at the foodie game changes as the fourth content update drops.

Disney Dreamlight Valley gets new recipes in time for Easter
On April 5, 2023, Disney introduced their fourth free update to the Dreamlight Valley world. Called Pride of the Valley, this content update introduces an all-new Realm (Dream Castle: The Lion King), Star Paths, as well as new story quests featuring The Lion King leads, Simba and Nala.
Not only has Dreamlight Valley introduced new recipes, but they have included new food-based quests. A Three-Course Thank You will see you assist Ratatouille’s Remy in preparing a feast. You just need to cook five-star meals (any will do) for Merlin, Mickey, Scrooge and Goofy. A special Eggstravaganza event will also take place from April 8 to 29 to mark Easter.
Several bugs relating to the gaming quests have also been fixed in this update. Remy’s Recipe Book underwent a bug fix, as did A Restaurant Makeover.
All the new Disney Dreamlight Valley recipes
There are 11 new recipe additions to the Dreamlight Valley world in this update. This comprises four entrees, five desserts, and two appetizers. They are ranged between two and five stars and priced between 54 and 588 coins.

To make the Bug Platter – taking inspiration from The Lion King – you will need two colorful bugs, two red bugs, and one slimy bug. This is a five-star meal and is 370 coins.
For the Lioness Feast, you will need mushroom, tomato, oregano, as well as Here and There fish. It is priced at 109 coins and is a four-star meal.
Marvelous Jam is the simplest and easiest of all the new recipes. It requires just wheat and Dreamlight fruit, comes in at 54 coins, and is rated two stars.
Ingredients for the other recipes have yet to be confirmed. But we do know that there are several more five-star meals included. Spring Egg Bowl (370 coins) and Ghostly Fish Steak (349 coins) are also ranked five stars. It’s worth bearing in mind when you come across the Three-Course Thank You quest!
