Arsenal well and truly struck gold when they signed Martin Odegaard back in 2021.
The Gunners initially landed the Norwegian midfielder on a loan deal from Real Madrid.
Arsenal went on to buy Odegaard that summer for a reported £30million plus bonuses.
Two years on, and the 24-year-old is the Gunners’ captain and has his team fighting for the Premier League title.
He is the youngest player to don the Arsenal armband since Cesc Fabregas.
This season, Odegaard has registered an impressive 10 goals and eight assists from 29 Premier League outings.
Journalist Paul Brown has now told GiveMeSport that he believes Odegaard is easily a £100million-plus player now.
“Odegaard is the captain of this team, he runs it,” he said.
“If anyone tried to come in and sign him, I don’t think he’s going anywhere.

“I don’t think anyone pays the kind of money that Arsenal want, but he’s definitely a £100m+ player himself now.”
Our view
Odegaard was famously one of the top youngsters in world football before Real signed him.
He made his professional debut at the age of 15, having initially appeared for Stromsgodset’s first-team in a friendly at 13.
At Real Madrid, there were some worrying signs that Odegaard could’ve failed to hit his incredible potential.
Joining Arsenal was an amazing call from him and from the club. He is now a superstar and still looks like he could improve.
The likes of Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham reportedly have price tags of over £100million.
You could argue that Odegaard should be worth more than both of them, as the captain of a Premier League tabletopping side.
However, we all know that he is pretty much priceless for Arsenal right now.
