Darwin Nunez boots has become a commonly searched term after the Liverpool No.27 started to wear a fresh Nike design in recent weeks.
The Uruguay international has ditched his white Mercurial Superfly boots in favour of a blackout version, although they are not just any old black boots.
Let’s take a more detailed look at Nunez’s latest pair of Nike boots…

Well, the South American has customised his black Mercurial Superfly boots, and they have understandably caught the attention of many.
Nunez has added a huge Uruguay flag to the side of his right boot, which stretches across most of the trademark Nike tick logo – from far away, it almost looks like the three stripes of Adidas.
On the outside of his left boot, the 23-year-old simply has Darwin etched above the other Nike tick.
In truth, it wasn’t Nunez who actually customised them – that was the work of Jordan Dawson, an award winning footwear designer who has previously worked with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Heung-min Son.

Nunez first wore these boots in the recent 2-0 Merseyside derby win over Everton, providing an assist for Mohamed Salah to score the opening goal at the Kop End.
The Uruguayan then found the net in a 2-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday to score his first goal in his new boots.

Of course, there are plenty of supporters who couldn’t care less about a player’s footwear.
However, for the boot lovers among us, there is no denying that Nunez’s customised Mercurial Superflys are among the most attractive boots seen so far this season.
Ahead of tonight’s Champions League Round of 16 clash against Real Madrid at Anfield, Liverpool fans will be hoping to see Nunez on the scoresheet in back-to-back games while wearing his eye-catching boots.
